CameraCue2.0 Quit Study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of first line quit-smoking therapies on craving and smoking behavior. You will be randomly assigned (like drawing numbers from a hat) to one of three groups: nicotine transdermal (absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream) patch (Nicoderm CQ), varenicline (Chantix), or placebo.

Eligibility Requirements:

– Females ages 18-65
– Generally Healthy

Study Requirements:

– 10 visits over the course of 14 weeks

Reward Quit Study

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of combining a weekly behavioral treatment with smoking very low nicotine content (VLNC) cigarettes plus wearing a nicotine patch on improving mood and quitting smoking.

Eligibility Requirements:

– Ages 18-55
– Smoke at least 5 cigarettes per day
– Sometimes feel down or depressed

Study Requirements:

– 11 visits over the course of about 15 weeks

‘Quit on the Go’ Trial

The purpose of this study is to learn more about the usability and feasibility of smoking cessation apps for those who suffer with mental illness. We are looking for smokers who have been diagnosed with mental illness who want to change their smoking habits.

Eligibility Requirements:

– Ages 18 and up
– Smoke cigarettes daily for the past month
– Have a serious mental illness
– Currently receive mental health treatment

Study Requirements:

– 9 visits over the course of 16 weeks
